Youth Town Council Minutes 20-10-08
1. Apologies were received from Sophie and Cllr Leach. We expected Jess would be unable to attend because of her injury.
Present were Chris, Rory, Callum, Sam, Katie, Hannah, Cllr Burridge-Clayton and Mrs Burridge-Clayton.
2. Minutes were agreed and signed.
3. PCSO England did not attend so we were unable to find out about the Youth Café.
4. Callum had nearly completed his website.
5. We wanted more information about the YTC training.
6. We decided we will probably not be taking part in the Carnival.
7. Katie volunteered to make a poster.
8. We suggested Queen’s Drive and Tesco roundabout as locations for bulb planting. We decided we would arrange a date before the next meeting.
Fundraising ideas included a stay awake, fancy dress, football, a charity run, a Christmas themed evening or a Halloween themed evening.
A cycle path along the seafront was suggested. Cllr Burridge-Clayton said it had been raised at council meetings.
Mrs Burridge-Clayton said she would get the Youth Town Council finances for Rory at the next meeting.
We suggested attending a Town Council meeting.
9. Next meeting on November 25th at 7 pm.
10. Meeting closed at 7:35 pm.
